About Yoga Guide

Find Yoga. Everywhere. By yogis, for yogis.

Yoga Guide is a simple, local guide to yoga: teachers, studios, classes and events, retreats and teacher trainings, jobs, community, and a place to buy and sell used gear. It is organized by state and city, the way a classifieds site should be, so what you see is what is near you, in the United States and in cities around the world.

Browsing and posting listings are free. Anyone can post; every listing is tied to an email address, and you manage it through a private link we send you.

Want to save a spot in class? Sign in with an email link. Teachers can share a schedule, take bookings, keep an attendance list and email their students here too. No password, no platform fee. Any class fee goes directly to the teacher. New to teaching? There's a page on how to get your first yoga students.

The āsana study guide teaches the 200 classical āsanas as B.K.S. Iyengar teaches them, in short lessons: each Sanskrit name taken apart word by word, the technique step by step, and reviews spaced out so it sticks. It opens with a unit on Patañjali's eight limbs, one lesson each. It's free with the same account, and the lineage pages tell the story of the teachers behind today's styles.

Why it looks like this
