Booking a class

Go to find a class, pick a date and choose sign in to book. We email you a private sign-in link. Open it, finish signing in, then confirm your spot. Look in my bookings for the details or to cancel. Opening an email link alone never books or cancels a class.

Times are shown in the class's timezone. Booking through Yoga Guide is free. If the teacher charges for the class, arrange payment with them directly. Online joining links appear only after your place is confirmed.

Class full? Join the waitlist from the class page. If a spot opens up before the waitlist closes, 2 hours before the class starts, we book the first person waiting and email them the details. You can leave a waitlist from my bookings at any time, and if you've been booked in and can't make it, cancel there so the next person gets your spot.

Teaching a class

Open the teacher dashboard, sign in and add your name, city and a short bio. Add a class once, or have it repeat on the days of the week you choose, at one or more times a day, with a last date or none (the site keeps adding dates as time goes on), then share your public schedule link. Students can book one date, or book every session in one go. Set the number of places and check the class list to see who's coming. When a class fills up, students can join its waitlist, and anyone waiting is booked in automatically when a spot opens. Edit one date, or that date and every later one; cancel one date, or end a repeating class from your dashboard. Booked students receive a notice. My students lists everyone who has booked with you, with their email addresses: email a whole class from its class list, or send news about your other classes to the students who asked for it. Just finished teacher training? How to get your first yoga students walks through it.

No sign-in email? Check spam, check the address you typed, and wait a few minutes before trying again. Links work once and expire after 30 minutes.

The study guide

Open the āsana study guide and sign in with the same email link you use for classes. Lessons, review cards, XP and your streak are kept in your account, so you can carry on from any device. Finished parts of a lesson are saved; a part you leave halfway starts again next time. To start over, use Erase progress on the Progress tab.

Posting

Click post, pick your city and section, fill in the form, and you're live. We email you a private manage link to edit, renew, or delete the listing. Keep that email. There is no password to remember.

Lost the link? Go to my listings, enter the email you posted with, and we'll send the links again.

The rules

Readers can flag a listing. Flagged listings are reviewed and removed when they break the rules. Repeat offenders are blocked.

My town isn't listed

Pick the nearest city and put your town in the neighborhood field. Retreats, trainings, jobs, and online teachers are also browsable nationwide. A teacher who teaches online with no fixed home can post without a city: their listing goes on online teachers. If you think a city should be added, write to us.

Feeds

Every section in every city has an RSS feed: add /rss to the section URL, for example /california/los-angeles/gear/rss.
